    Gang Huang received his Ph.D. in 2003 from the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science of Peking University under the direction of Professor Fuqing Yang and Professor Hong Mei. He also received an M.S. in 2000 and a B.S. in 1997 in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an under the direction of Professor Xingshe Zhou.
     Huang’s research interests include middleware, software architecture,  and Internetware which is a new paradigm for software of Internet as a Computer. He won the award of National Outstanding Dissertations in 2006, Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation in 2007, 2nd Class National Award for Technology Invention in 2008, New Century Excellent Talent of MOE in 2009, 1st Class University Award for Natural Science in 2010.
